Skiing and snowshoeing offer more than just time in the mountains they’re powerful, full-body workouts that leave you feeling strong, energised, and accomplished.


Skiing builds strength, balance, and coordination as you engage your core, legs, and stabilising muscles with every turn. It sharpens focus and agility while giving you an exhilarating sense of progress, whether you’re mastering your first slope or refining your technique. The dynamic nature of skiing also boosts cardiovascular fitness, all while you’re immersed in fresh mountain air and stunning scenery.


Snowshoeing, is a grounding and accessible way to explore winter landscapes. It provides a steady, low-impact cardio workout that strengthens the legs and improves endurance without placing stress on the joints. The rhythmic movement through snow encourages mindfulness, allowing you to slow down, breathe deeply, and connect with nature.

Together, these activities create a balanced experience of challenge and ease—helping you build physical strength, improve stamina, and enjoy the deep satisfaction of moving your body with purpose in a truly inspiring environment.

MPM Hotel Guinness offers the perfect sanctuary for a ski and yoga retreat, where alpine energy meets deep relaxation. 

Its warm, inviting atmosphere and spacious apartment style rooms create a sense of comfort and ease from the moment you arrive, making it ideal for us coming together to unwind, 

move and reconnect.


The on-site wellness area features a heated indoor pool, sauna, and steam room, designed to soothe muscles, release tension, and support recovery after both skiing and yoga practice.

This isn't just for beginners, all levels are welcome advance or intermediate skier too!


Skiing is an exciting and rewarding way to connect with the mountains, no experience needed. 

As a beginner, you’ll be guided step by step through group lessons, building skills in a supportive and encouraging environment that makes learning both fun and achievable.

Your journey typically starts on gentle, wide slopes where you’ll learn the basics: how to balance, control your speed, and make your first turns. With the help of experienced instructors, you’ll quickly gain confidence and feel a real sense of progress often within just a few days.

One of the most empowering parts of learning to ski is how quickly it clicks. What starts as something unfamiliar soon becomes a natural, flowing movement. Along the way, you’ll not only build physical strength and coordination, but also resilience and trust in your body.

Most importantly, beginner skiing is about enjoyment not perfection. There’s plenty of time to pause, take in the mountain views, and celebrate every small win. 

Paired with yoga, it becomes an even more balanced experience helping you stay relaxed, recover faster, and feel more in tune with your body.

Whether it’s your first time on snow or you’re returning after a long break, this is your chance to try something new, challenge yourself gently, and discover the joy of gliding through a winter landscape.

Snowshoe walking is one of the most accessible and rewarding ways to experience the magic of winter. With no prior experience needed, it allows you to step off the busy slopes and into quiet, snow-covered landscapes wandering through forests, across open trails, and into places skis can’t always reach.

Snowshoeing offers a low-impact yet effective workout. It strengthens your legs, glutes, and core while improving balance and coordination all without putting stress on your joints. You can go at your own pace, making it suitable for all fitness levels.
